About
Hair Chapters is a hairstyle magazine for the years most beauty sites skip. We write for women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s, when density drops, gray comes in, and a cut that looked fine at 30 no longer sits the same way.
Claire Sanders edits the site. The articles name a cut, a length, a color, or a styling step you can take to a salon or do at home. They are sorted by age, length, face shape, and hair type, so you are not reading a list written for someone half your age.
What you will find here
- Haircut and color ideas, written as something you can ask for by name.
- Care and styling notes that belong with that look, not a separate lecture.
- Product links only when the product fits the article. How those links pay the site is on the Affiliate Disclosure.
We are not a salon, and we do not diagnose scalp or hair-loss conditions. For that, see a dermatologist or a stylist who can look at your hair in person. General reading on this site is not medical advice. That limit is spelled out on the Disclaimer.
Corrections and story ideas go to support@hairchapters.com. We read them.
